We will transmit the application form at the earliest FILL UP the application form & personal health declaration and send to our above Corporate Office address along with an account payee draft favouring LICHFL Care Homes Ltd., payable at Mumbai for Rs. 2.5/3.5/4.5 lacs as per your option for units of 400/600/800sft respectively. Q Are these units totally independent or row houses ? A These are totally independent houses, each house surrounded by garden. Q How much I pay now? When do I pay the other instalments? A You pay about 50% now along with application say Rs. 2.5 / 3.5 / 4.5 lacs for units of about 400/600/800 sft respectively. Balance will be payable later which will be intimated one month in advance. Q What is my total liability for acquiring one unit ? A The cost of the units are Rs.4.98 / 6.98 / 8.98 lakhs for houses with built up areas of about 400 / 600 / 800 Sft. respectively. However if the cost of inputs vary, the cost may vary. Q Can we measure our sft area of the house that we will occupy and pay accordingly ? A Yes, Your house will be measured in front of you at the time of occupation. The difference, if any will be refunded or collected accordingly. Q Are not the units quite costly? A Considering the location, quality of construction, facilities offered, the pricing is lowest possible on cost to cost basis. Q Shall I definitely get an allotment ? A Allotment is on first-come-first-serve basis. Q I am 46, my wife is 40, my mother is 70, Can my mother and myself apply as co-applicants and live together with my wife ? A Yes, you can be co-applicant with your mother and live with her along with your wife. Q I have a dependant daughter aged 37 years. Can she stay with me ? A Yes. She can stay with you. Q Can our children stay with us ? A Yes, Children can stay with you. However their names can be entered in a register maintained by Care Homes office. Q Can my relatives come and stay with me for some days? A Yes they can. Q Can I apply after 30.09.2004 ? A Yes, you can apply if the vacancy is there. However, a simple interest @ 9% will be charged for the number of days elapsed from 1.10.04 Q I will occupy only after 2 years on my retirement. In the meantime can I allow another Senior Citizen to stay in my unit?. A Yes you can allow another senior citizen aged 50 & above at your responsibility with the permission of the Company. Q How much will you charge monthly for these recurring facilities? Is it fixed or variable ? A The expenses will be equitably divided amongst the residents. The larger the no. the less will be the overhead. Minimum Base Price for different services may be around Rs. 1,500/- p.m. per one unit house and for catering, may be around Rs 2000/- per person. This may vary depending on actual expenditure. Q Why are you asking for declaration of Good Health ? A We are yet to be equipped with the infrastructure to take care of totally invalid, paralytics, terminally ill persons. Hence we are asking for Personal Health Declaration. May be in future, we will be able to provide the logistics to take care of them. Q My son argues “Am I not taking good care of you – why do you want to go to an old age home ?” A Its not the kind of old age home with a stigma attached to it. Its a novel community living of peer group company, evening Bhajans, a hilarious movie on home theatre with friends, doctor next door, a much richer life than the life of seclusion. Young son, busy at his work can provide money for comforts but not the peer group companions, not the quality and quantity of time. He can’t banish the psychological void which every elderly person dreads. Here at our Care Homes your son and his family can come and stay and enjoy a richer community life which money can’t buy. Q How will you charge for medical facility, laundry, chauffeur driven car etc.? A It will be on user pay basis. Q What amenities are available in campus? A Full fledged Catering(optional), Library, Home Theatre, Health Club, Meditation- on- lake, Departmental store Attending Doctors, Nurses, Domestic Help, Gardening, Security(24 Hrs), 24 hours car with driver, Town Bus available in front of the campus. Post office & Bank for ATM will be requested for opening at our Amenities centre. Q Can I have a telephone at my residence? A Yes you can have telephone at your residence. TV, telephones, internet points will be on user pay basis. Q Can you provide us new furnitures ? A It’s not a furnished house. You can bring your own furnitures or order for the same locally. Q Do you have some space to dump my old things ? A You have a loft on top of toilet and passage to dump unusable things. Q What kind of window are you providing? A Aluminum window with sliding glass shutters and mosquito nets. The projected window in the bedroom and a wide bench in varanda with polished stone tops enable one to sleep in comfort on this and enjoy the outside nature. All windows and front door have additional mosquito net doors. Q I have gardening as a hobby. Can I plant some trees? A Yes, you can plant trees with the permission of Co. Q Can we pass on our occupational rights to another ? A Yes. You can pass on your occupation rights to another person who is 50 and above with the permission of the Company subject to detailed rules. Q After me and my wife, can my son or daughter enjoy it? A Yes after the demise of both the applicant and co-applicant the Nominee can enjoy it. Q What happens if our child is not 50 when both of us die? A He can permit another Senior Citizen aged 50 and above to stay or pass on his occupational rights to one aged 50 or above with permission of the Company. One of the occupants should preferably be 50 years and above. Q Are these rules permanent? A Rules are made for the mutual benefit of the largest no.
