Mayor calls for artificial ponds in every ward
Mumbai: Mayor Shubha Raul has come up with some wardwise suggestions for this year’s Ganesh festival.
“People should have artificial ponds in their respective wards,’’ she suggested.
‘‘Also, the idol makers should set up their workshops in the wards and teach those willing to learn, the way of making the idols, thereby charging them. This way, even the idol-makers will earn,’’ said Raul. TNN
