ACB raids six travel agencies
MUMBAI: The Anti-Corruption Bureau of the CBI and railway vigilance officials conducted a raid on six unauthorized travel agencies in the city on Saturday. They reportedly found that railway reservation tickets were being procured and then sold at a higher premium to some customers. So legitimate customers, those standing in a queue, were not able to get tickets.
During the raid conducted at various areas, the ACB seized 405 tatkal sewa journey cum reservation tickets. “Their value is approximately Rs 8 lakh,” said an official.
