361 Private unaided schools were given land by the Govt. at concessional rates and these schools are obliged to provide 20% free seats to the children of parents earning less than rupees 1 lakh per annum.
Documents required for admission:
Income certificate of parents issued by SDM
Residence proof of Delhi for last 5 years
Birth certificate of the child
The parents willing to get their children enrolled in these schools may approach the nearby school for admission. The admission can be requested in all the classes for which school is enrolling children.
Some suggestions for parents:
Collect admission form from nearby schools, listed in 361 schools. List of 361 schools is available on the website: www.socialjurist.com
Fill up the admission form, make two photocopies of the form.
Submit one copy in the school, take receipt on the duplicate copy
Send the form to school by Speed Post if the school refuses to acknowledge the receipt of form
Submit the photocopy with the Deputy Director (Education), Govt. of Delhi, of the area.
The child or the parents can not be subjected to any test or interview for admission of child.
The complaints about refusal of admission, non cooperation etc. on any ground can be sent to:

A copy of the complaint may also be sent to Right to Education Task Force at the above address. Admission of children from EWS under free seats is a right of children and not a charity by schools.
