I think the idea of rating NGO’s runs contrary to the very ethos of NGO’s.Having said that,Rating may be useful for Government and other agencies that actually disburse funds to NGO’s for performing certain tasks.

Thus Rating in general may not serve any purpose but can be done for specific purposes.It also follows that such a rating can only be aptly done by the concerned Government agency ,since only the latter would have an idea about the past performance of the NGO for the specific task.

I would like to add that from whatever I have seen about your organisation,I shall be happy to be of any help in respect of the State of Uttar Pradesh,as I live in Lucknow.
