of Indian population still resides in rural areas. Even if rural areas
have some access to public health care facility, they are still
deprived of quality health care services. Though there has been many
initiatives by Govt of India towards issues like woman and child
health, family welfare etc but hardly any innovation have been there to
take
care of primary health needs. Though health care centers exists at some
places, but there is a big shortfall of doctors. The reasons are
obvious. Setting up health care centers involves significant
infrastructural cost as well as the health care professionals does not
find it rewarding to work in rural areas. Further travelling to rural
areas and finding proper infrastructure is a big hassle.
