Since there is no medicine involved, it would be worth trying if any one of us have this type of
problem with our kids.
Most doctors consider a bedwetting child to be any girl older than age four and any boy over age five who wet the bed.
About 10% of all six year olds and about 3% of all 14 year olds wet the bed. In a very small number of cases, bedwetting can continue into adulthood.
In winters we urinate more though the water intake is much
less as compared to summers. Same way the children wet the beds more in winters. In winters the humidity levels arevery less. The air is dry. Winters suck the moisture from the skins as well. Internally as well the organs hold much less water.
Children who tend to drink less water will find it difficult
to hold urine in their bladders. The solution lies in drinking
more water during the day.
Make the child drink at least 1 glass of water 1 hour before
going to bed and another just before going to bed. During the
day also the child should be asked to drink water 6-8 times
even during the winters. Those parents who implement this
program for 7 days will be shocked to see that the child has
stopped wetting bed completely.
Do not forget to tell your family doctor the results of the
above experiment.
