Navratri 2006 Noise Levels
Decibel levels and time limits were maintained in most places during Navratri this year in Mumbai. Time limits were relaxed upto midnight on the last 2 days of the festival (30th September and 1st October) and also for the Devi immersions on 2nd October. During immersion processions, decibel levels were not controlled and firecrackers including atom bombs were commonly used.
