WELFARE FOR STRAY DOGS
Need a dog whose behaviour and temperament matches yours? Just drop by the Welfare for Stray Dogs ( WSD). There is a common myth that it is better to adopt a puppy so that it grows up with you and that adult dogs are difficult to adjust to. But WSD has adult dogs ( one year- old or older) that have been tested for their behaviour and temperament before adoption. Hence, you can adopt a dog that suits best to your family or maybe even adjusts with your pet cat!

SAMI’S J0URNEY FROM INDIA TO FINLAND
Vivienne Choudhury of IDA said, “ Everyone wants the dog featured in the popular network service TV commercial, or a cute Labrador pup. But they never think that it is not easy and cheap to own a pedigree dog. We have to take care of numerous abandoned pedigree dogs. Apart from being physically weak these abandoned dogs are also traumatised as they may have been kicked out from their homes. Like we love these dogs, non- Indians seem to prefer the Indian Pariah dog, as they are beautiful and strong thanks to their 3,000- yearold lineage. People from as far as the US and Finland have adopted these dogs who do not have any problem adjusting to the climate and are living wonderful lives there!”
