MCGM release short film ‘March’ aiming towards students
Mumbai, Mar 12 (PTI) In a spate of suicide cases happening in the city, the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) today released a short film to help parents understand that they should not to pressure their children to excel in academics.
The 18-minute film, titled ‘March’, was released by Civic Education Committee Chairman Ram Barot.
“The film will be shown at all the 1,300 BMC-run schools in the city, we will also write to private education institutes to show the film in their schools. Apart from this we will also show this film on TV channels,” Barot said.
The film, which focuses on how students face stress due to expectations of parents, will be shown in Hindi and Marathi.
“We have kept the title as ‘March’ as students appear for exams during this month.
