Meet Miguel Angel León Pineda!
Meet Miguel Angel León Pineda! Miguel has diabetes and lost his sight to cataracts ten years ago, at the age of 40. Through the generosity of our donors, Miguel had surgery and, on June 11, 2009, he saw his mother’s face for the first time since 1999.
Prasad de México’s staff and volunteers have restored the eyesight of thousands of people. They have seen this miracle over 18,200 times, and yet Miguel’s recovery is every bit as thrilling as that first cure, which took place a decade ago. Read more…

HIV/AIDS Program: “Pratiti’s” Story
According to recent estimates, approximately 2.3 million people in India are living with HIV. As the number of people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS continues to grow, so does the importance of our program in the Tansa Valley. Since its inception, in April 2004, the program has reached more than 60,000 men, women and children.
