Kala Ram Mandir
Constructed in 1790 by Sardar Odhekar of Peshwa, this is the largest and simplest of the temples. This temple houses a black stone image of Rama and hence it got the name Kala Ram Mandir. The diety image is made of black stones and has four doors facing East, West, South and North and is an apex made up of 32 tons of gold. In 1930, Dr. Ambedkar performed Satyagraha, to allow the entry of Harijans into the temple.
Pandu Lena
Pandu Lena is a group of 24 Hinayan Buddhist caves. Pandu Lena is about 8 kms south of Nasik and dates back to 1 st centuary BC to 2nd AD. The most interesting and important in this group are 18 and 20 number caves. Except cave number 18 , rest of the caves are Viharas or Monasteries. These are most intriguing form of caves in Western India.
Trimback
36 kms from Nasik, the village Trimbak is famous for the Trimbakeshwar temple. It enshrines one of the 12 jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered as one of the major jyotirlingas. It is famous for the major Poojas Narayan Nagbali, Tripindi and Kalsarpa which is done only on Trimbakeshwar in India.
Ramkund
Constructed in 1695, Ramkund is one of the holy tank. It was Chitrarao Khatarkar who constructed Ram Kund. Ramkund is about 27 mts by 12 mts. It is said that Lord Rama and his wife Sita constructed this tank for bathing during the years of exile. It is said that by immersing ashes into Ramkund Salavation can be achieved.
