Ness Technologies Successfully Initiated an Awareness Campaign to Save Street Animals
Ness Hyderabad associates with Blue Cross of Hyderabad, a voluntary organisation
Hyderabad, 5 Jan 2010: Ness Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ & TASE: NSTC), a global provider of IT services and solutions, announced their association with Blue Cross of Hyderabad, a voluntary organization that works for the welfare of animals. Commemorating the International Animal Rights Day, Ness Technologies and Blue Cross joined hands to create awareness about Indian animal welfare. As a part of this unique initiative, Ness Technologies organised a session on Save Street Animals conducted by Mrs. Amala Akkineni, the founder of Blue Cross of Hyderabad.
As a socially responsible organization, Ness Technologies India supports the cause of Indian Animal Welfare as a part of their Ness Sense, the Ness CSR Circle initiatives. This session on Save Street Animals, was extremely useful and informative. The session was also interactive wherein the audience had the opportunity to clarify their doubts related to street animals and their welfare. It gave a clear idea on how to take proper care, how to treat animals and what are the varied measures we can take to save them.
Satyajit Bandyopadhyay, President & Managing Director, Ness Technologies India said, We are delighted to witness so many employees come forward to attend this interactive session conducted by Amala Akkineni. Ness Technologies India is definitely looking forward to a long term association with Blue Cross of Hyderabad. Moving forward our employees who are passionate about this cause will closely work with Blue Cross of Hyderabad as volunteers. This awareness campaign has opened an arch to those animal lovers, who would surely be motivated to pursue their passion for animal welfare.
According to Mrs. Amala Akkineni, founder of Blue Cross of Hyderabad, I would like to extend my gratitude to Ness Technologies for inviting me here to talk about Animal welfare as a growing global need. Its a rare incident where we find a company taking so much of interest in such a cause. I hope that Blue Cross has been able to share our thoughts and experiences with Nessians on cruelty to animals and find solutions to it. The purpose behind our initiative is to urge people to demand humane practices and to stop such inhuman behavior towards such beautiful creatures, extend compassion, give shelter, nurture and treat them with care. We hope our small effort would make a difference to all animals
Ness Technologies has always been very active in their corporate social responsibilities through their Ness Sense programmes. Under these programmes in 2009, Ness visited an Anand Ashram and Sadhana Institite of Mentally Challenged, organised blood donation camp, flood relief camp towards the Kurnool flood victims, organised an art and crafts workshop for children of Ashraya Foundation and many more such activities through which they hope to make a difference in society.
