RF(I)T is a non-political, not-for- profit organization registered in 2003 as a Public Charitable Trust in Mumbai. It has a development programme in the areas of community services, education, health and livelihood across population groups, including the multiple disabled.
It works in partnership with like minded organizations across the country and has direct intervention programmes in Mumbai through its Community Centres, professional scholarship and medical assistance programmes.
RF(I)T needs dynamic, computer savvy persons, who are effective communicators and team players, based in Mumbai with integrity, honesty and transparency as strong personal values for the following positions:
1. Director Operations, RF(I)T :
A senior management position. The Director will oversee the Partner Support Programme funded by the Foundation and Direct Programmes Rangoonwala Community Centres, Medical Assistance & Patient Rights Programme and Professional Scholarship Programme as well as Finance and Administration. She/ he will contribute to strategic planning, give depth to the existing programmes and lead the team in operationalising future plans.
She/he should be a Mumbai based, hands-on person, willing and able to lead by example with more than 10 years senior management level experience in the development sector.
The position requires travel.

2. Manager Organizational Communication:
The Manager will proactively engage with the different programmes and teams of the Organisation, being responsible for documentation, including website, annual and periodic reports, orgainisation presentations, inter and intra organization interfacing, developing event information materials etc.
She / he should be a Mumbai based, hands on person with strong coordination, communication and IT skills with more than seven years experience, preferably in the development sector, with a mass communications background .
The Manager – Organisational Communications will report to the Director- Operations.

3. Programme Manager Medical and Scholarship Programme:
Hands on management of a Programme that involves case work, interaction and coordination with patients, medical service providers, students, educational institutions, documentation and independent correspondence and systems maintenance for the same. Networking with stakeholders and community based interaction for rights based awareness and information dissemination.
The position requires a strong rights perspective, training skills in community settings and strong understanding and experience of managing a community based volunteer core and handling of support group activities.
The position requires commuting in Mumbai.
She /he should be Mumbai based, with more than seven years experience in the development sector related to health and/ or higher education.
Masters in Social Work with strong management/ administrative and documentation skills and community work experience will be preferred.

4. Programme Officer(s) – Partner Support Programme( PSP) – 2 Positions :
The Partner Support Programme funds development initiatives of like minded organizations on issues of health, education, disability and livelihood.

5. Coordinator(s) – Rangoonwala Community Centres ( RCC) :
2 Positions – 1:Health & 1: Education
The RCCs stem from our belief that resource poor communities in Mumbai, particularly women and children, need physical spaces in their midst to address their development needs. The RCCs focus on the health and education activities through 4 Centres- 3 in Jogeshwari ( east) and one in Andheri ( east).
The position(s) require coordination, review, new activity initiation, expanding resource persons and resource materials base, issue based networking, strategizing activities to match need assessment for health and education, such that RCCs positively impact the communitys health and education.
The Coordinators will be responsible for Health and Education related work respectively for all the four RCCs.
Candidates should be Mumbai based Masters in Social Work with more than five years experience in community based work in the areas of Health / Education, with strong communication, coordination, documentation and interpersonal skills.

6. Community Coordinators Rangoonwala Community Centre (RCC) : 2 Positions
The position(s) require facilitating the mobilization team through an active hands on approach for need assessment, area profiling, rapport building with women and children and mobilizing them for participation in RCC activities. The Coordinators will conduct community meetings and awareness programmes to reinforce RCCs mission and vision for the communitys development as well as feed in community needs into RCC strategies and activities.
Candidates should be Mumbai based Masters in Social Work with more than three years experience in community based work, with strong understanding of community dynamics as well as communication, coordination, documentation and interpersonal skills.
