Lalu under Agni Pariksha

Today’s  2-00 p.m news item telecast on India T.V channel reported that the father-in-law and mother-in law of Rly. Minister Lal Prasad were caught travelling without ticket. This news per se my not be worth taking note of. But what  makes it noteworthy is the the courage of the staff who did the job knowing fully well the consequences it could bring to him .Still unmindful of it, the staff did its duties diligently, and faithfully.

Now the question arises whether the Railway Minister, considering the courage of the staff  in doing what it did, rewards him with cash, kind or a mere citation of good service.

 

Of late, Lalu is being hyped as a financial wizard  having a good managerial skill. If he has one, why cant he show that in tackling the unending difficult travelling conditions in the subarban Railway trains in Mumbai or serpentine queues outside booking windows  at every railway stations in Mumbai.
