Xansa has always been a strong proponent of CSR. Apart from allocating about 1% of profits for funding its various CSR programs, at Xansa, employees are encouraged to do their bit for the community. Employee donations for social causes are matched by the company with the Matching Funds scheme. Even the companys own initiatives are almost entirely volunteer driven, with Xansa staff themselves at the forefront of these initiatives, driving them forward and playing their part towards bringing a change in the community around them. The company recognizes that this is an important role that each employee would like to play and therefore they should be provided the opportunity to play this role.
At Xansa, CSR has always been a part of its business philosophy. Over the past few years, various programs have been initiated and various projects executed. Schools and orphanages, hospitals and slum children, computer literacy and mentorship, burns victims and tsunami rehab, English language classes and morning milk for primary school kids Xansa CSR has gone through it all. This has had a lasting impact on large sections of the community where Xansa works, and also a lasting impact on the brand Xansa, seen and acknowledged today as a company with a heart. Within Xansa, this was an important part of the Xansa CSR learning curve.
Also, within Xansa today, CSR awareness is high, involvement is growing and people are more forthright and even enthusiastic in their desire to be a part of the CSR mission. In the last financial year, a number of our clients also came forward to be a part of our CSR programmes.
