Lage raho Gandhiji
A look at the Father of The Nation and his libran balancing act

Mumbai:Libran Gandhiji always elicits a big wow. To Gandhi giri and to Rajkumar Hirani who has given us Gandhi back. Now let us reclaim him before he disappears again from our lives, our minds, and our behavior. We need him now more than ever, we need his Libran fairness.
After the Leo roar and Virgo analysis we need the Libran scale to not just show us right over wrong but to show us the correct over right. To make us give our left cheek when we are slapped on the right. To be the example that we are advising someone else to be. And so charmingly, effortlessly, easily, which only our Libran charmers can be.
So what is this Libran all about? “Hate the sin, love the sinner.” Wow, again. And such casual common sense. The ruler of Libra is Venus. Its glyph represents the balance of the scales. It’s meaning, equilibrium and justice. Considered the sign of cosmic reciprocity, of cooperation rather than competition, of consciousness made objective through associations and partnerships. “I have nothing new to teach the world. Truth and non-violence are as old as the hills. All I have done is to try experiments in both on as vast a scale as I could.”
“An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.” Please understand this absolute casual Libran logic and yet for ‘I do believe,’ he wrote, ‘that where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence.’ (between right and correct.)
Gandhiji felt it his personal obligation to remain celibate so that he could learn to love, rather than lust. For Gandhi brahmacharya meant control of the senses in thought, word and deed.( Balance… libran’s ultimate aim).
Bole toh…..
