| B: My Complaint Details | |
| 1. Period of incident: | 2010 – Jan |
| 2. Services that were sought: | stop the inspector from harrassing rickshaw drivers |
| 3. Problem/s I faced: | I was travelling in a rickshaw from patalipada to majiwada along with 3 others. This inspector stopped it and demanded 100/- for overloading of vehicle. we were only 3 persons in it. when i protested on behalf of the driver i was abused and inspector said he will put me in for stopping his work |

| Details of Content: | The said inspector is very famous for taking bribe from poor drivers. He allows private vehicle drivers to pick passengers waiting for the govt. buses. He takes than 5000 – 10000 from vehicle owners |
| D: My Suggestions | |
| 1. For head of government department: | |
| Suggestion 1: | reprimand them or take action, even if he does the same then transfer him to rural areas away from his residence. Putting cameras on all signal posts will reduce bribery. Display of info to public will deter the police from taking bribes. |
| Suggestion 2: | if public stops giving bribr to these police men, then the govt. dont have to increase the tax rates. |
| Suggestion 3: | Take action on bribe givers also |
| 2. For the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) / Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI): | |
| Suggestion 1: | complaints have not worked as the inspector get to know about the raid and becomes alert. He gets info from the bureau only |
| Suggestion 2: | when the corruption is from top to bottom, then what can they do. |
