| 1. Period of incident: | 2008 – Dec |
| 2. Services that were sought: | Electricity Supply. TNEB is providing electricity supply to our office. And power interruptions are addressed by the forman mentioned. |
| 3. Problem/s I faced: | Interruptions are purposefully caused by the forman ROBERT, by creating a loose connection on the service posts. Every time he is coming in for fixing it, he is demanding for 500 rupees as bribe. We have identified, that always he is creating such temporary connection to make us call him again. |

| 5 a. Was the bribe paid? | Yes. Otherwise, he is n ot at all coming to fix for 2 to 3 days. |
| 5 b. Could the work have been done without paying the bribe? If so, how? | If we can fix it by our private electrician, we can make a quality reliable connection. |
| 6. Result: | He is trying to extract bribe repeatedly almost every 2 to 3 months. |

| 1. For head of government department: | |
| Suggestion 1: | – The foreman has to understand he is employed by TNEB to rpovide un interrupted power supply for customers. – He is paid for his job by TNEB. And not to beg to customer. |
| Suggestion 2: | TNEB should stop the bribe taking foremans and terminate them from job. Then they will do proper job and repeated actions are to be monitored. |
| 2. For the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) / Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI): | |
| Suggestion 1: | Corrupted foreman is to be terminated from job. So that atleast youngsters get job to do a proper job. |

| Suggestion 1: | No way to avoid, as they act as like God fathers for Electric supply to our home |
