B: My Complaint Details
1. Period of incident:	2008 – Jul

2. Services that were sought:	Traffic violation

3. Problem/s I faced:	I just checked on Bangalore one center if there’s any traffic violation against my car. I did this out of curiosity after receiving an sms from the acp that this can be done online. I shocked to see that indeed there’s a violation against my vehicle. At the time was the violation I was in my office

4. Bribe amount:	none

5 a. Was the bribe paid?	no

5 b. Could the work have been done without paying the bribe? If so, how?	haven’t tried yet

6. Result:	the penalty is Rs. 100 only. However, I am concerned about the policy penalizing folks without any offense. Is this a way to generating revenue by looting people for no reason. I didn’t get any notice

D: My Suggestions
1. For head of government department:
Suggestion 1:	Traffic vilators should be handed over the challan righ there. I am just lucky that I found my violation over the net owing to my curiosity over the sms from the acp traffic. No notice has been sent to me

2. For the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) / Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI):
Suggestion 1:	Investigate the policemen who fine people without a reason

3. For other citizens:
Suggestion 1:	Do not pay and buy peace for yourself. Follow up and push back agaist such loot
