2. Services that were sought:	Excise re-Registration

3. Problem/s I faced:	Frequent telephone calls for verification of unwanted details definitely for the purpose of harassment for bribe

4. Bribe amount:	Rs.5000/-

5 a. Was the bribe paid?	No.

5 b. Could the work have been done without paying the bribe? If so, how?

6. Result:	Registration is still pending.

D: My Suggestions
1. For head of government department:
Suggestion 1:	Please try a change in procedure that we do it ourselves online.

Suggestion 2:	A handbook to making easy “to maintain excise records” or some “guidelines” sort of made available at the excise offices itself.

2. For the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) / Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI):
Suggestion 1:	The entire department from top level is so shamlessly demanding.

3. For other citizens:
Suggestion 1:	Actually every person i know under excise benefit is paying the officials. Every citizen will have to make an adamant effort against these officials of whom we consider it natural to be SCARED of.
