B: My Complaint Details
1. Period of incident:	2008 – Dec

2. Services that were sought:	Want to know on waht basis the fines are calculated.

3. Problem/s I faced:	The traffic police demanded that I entered a one-way and asked me to bribe Rs.300. I really don’t know that Mysore bank – Avenue Road – KR Market or missed to see the one-way board). I agreed to pay the penalty of Rs.400. I want to how to confirm the authenticity of the slip issued by him.

4. Bribe amount:	300

5 a. Was the bribe paid?	No. I paid the fine.

5 b. Could the work have been done without paying the bribe? If so, how?	No.

6. Result:	Paying penalty.

C: Additional Informtion attached
Details of Content:	I’ve the charge sheet issued by the traffic police. It’s just haibg the seal of the Police Sub-Inspector and the document doesn’t carry any government emblom..etc.




D: My Suggestions
1. For head of government department:
Suggestion 1:	Want to have a online system where we can verify whether the amount has been forwarded to government.

2. For the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) / Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI):
Suggestion 1:	The charge sheet should contain hologram of the karnatak traffic police.

3. For other citizens:
Suggestion 1:	Please look very careful at the signals properly before entering to a road if you are noew to the area/road.
