Events at the British Council this April 2007
In words that sometimes have the cadence of music, then the rat-a-tat of a machine gun, Jem Rolls, UK spoken word artist and poet of the highest calibre explores the human condition in all its perplexing complexity. Using every available technique, from the words themselves to the constantly shifting tempo, rhythm, diction, rhyme, volume and tone, Rolls demands the attention of the listener.
