This is a free talk for the general public and a preview for the people who
are unsure about joining the Peas vs Pills. This may be of special interest
to those with high blood pressure/ arterial blocks or history of blocks and
bypass / people suffering from angina or those who have suffered from
strokes.
You will learn a simple method of preventing and reversing these problems
and avoiding or getting off medication slowly through a wise choice of
foods.

Peas vs Pills
The Peas vs. Pills workshop is about preventing and reversing illnesses
through the understanding of human anatomy, physiology and nature’s laws.
Nature’s wisdom surpasses that of any doctor. Learn how to understand what
your body is telling you and how to respond accordingly. Discover what is
the ideal healthy diet for a human being and learn how to prepare healthy,
tasty meals that heal. Become aware of how to live holistically and in
harmony with the environment.
The workshop will cover:
1. Health, disease and the scope of medicines.
2. What is the healthiest diet for our species? Understanding our anatomy,
physiology and real nutritional needs.
3. Why the foods we are eating today cause disease.
4. Results of diet change.
5. The relation between diet and stress.
6. The relation between diet and our environment.
7. How to manage making the transition without missing the foods we are used
to.
8. How to handle social situations.

Give Peas a Chance
Gathering, Sharing and Potluck lunch this is those who have done the Peas
vs Pills and their families. This event is free. Please share this
information with your friends who may not have email and who have done the
workshop.
Show off your favourite healthy vegan dish. Bring enough for about 20 small
portions so that it can be shared. If possible bring the recipe. If you
would like to reheat the food before serving, then preferably bring it in a
pot in which it can be heated there. We will have a few pots on hand too.
Also please bring a suitable serving spoon for your dish.
Some guidelines
Food should be organic if possible
No vegetables will be peeled except potatoes if necessary and perhaps
beetroot if the skin is bitter.
Minimum cold pressed oils should be used (no other oils), no deep frying
No dairy products
No white sugar. Minimum unrefined organic sugar or jaggery can be used
No white flour, refined grains or white rice.
Avoid overcooking the food.
Use salt sparingly
Each participant should arrive between 12.30 and 1pm

About the Presenter
