December 14: Mumbai: Trauma Counselling Units

With reference to our earlier mail (setting up trauma resolution units and doing conflict resolution/facilitation in the context of the 26/11/08 attacks) we are setting up a meeting at Anuradha Deb’s residence to brainstorm and discuss on the same.

We are pleased to inform you that SNEHA, an NGO with several centres in the city, has provided us with a platform in this regard.

Our main aim right now is to set up various trauma counseling units that can help and be of assistance to any and all people related to this terrible incident. In this context, I would request you to please forward this email appropriately to people who you may know in this field who are interested/experienced in counseling and organization of the same and would like to join this cause. This will really enable us in taking this venture forward.

For those of you who are familiar with Process Work, please forward to this all people who you know have attended WorldWork conferences.
