Students develop site to list prelim papers
Does this make life easier or more difficult for academically weaker students?
Mumbai: Students struggling to get hold of prelim papers in order to prepare for the ICSE examination can now log on to http://www.exampapersonline.com , a website developed by two brothers, Raghav (20) and Abhinav Aggarwal (16).
The two have managed to collect prelim papers for all subjects from over 10 schools in the city and post them on the website. Prelim papers for the current year as well as the previous year have been posted.
The duo came up with the idea for the website a year ago when Abhinav, a Class X student at St Mary’s High School due to appear for his ICSE exams this year, was struggling to find prelim papers to help him prepare for the exam. Raghav is doing his BMS from HR College. The tech-savvy brothers took a month to create the website. “Whenever we encountered a problem while creating the site, we would consult friends from IIT who helped us out,”
said Raghav.
The website not only has prelim papers, but also Class IX papers. The duo plans to expand the site to include CBSE papers too. They are also in the process of creating a section which will list tuition teachers with contact numbers for various subjects. “We are also working on a software whereby students can upload papers directly on to the site. Currently students have to e-mail us their exam papers which we then put up on the website,” said Raghav.
