B: My Complaint Details | |
1. Period of incident: | 2009 – Dec |
2. Services that were sought: | the rto staff present should return back the gratification received |
3. Problem/s I faced: | the staff on duty at behror city junction,harrassed me and my family while travelling from jaipur to delhi at 1330 hrs and sought gratification inspite of informing that i am from armed forces and they refused to divulge their names and identity card.i am 100% sure they were rfrom rto staff |

5 a. Was the bribe paid? | yes, no choice since i was with my family and had to report to my duty the next day ie 01 jan 10. they were not having any name talley and were blatantly seeking bribes from vehicles passing through. |
5 b. Could the work have been done without paying the bribe? If so, how? | |
6. Result: | they rcd gratification after taking me to their officewhich is located next to crossing (a small room ). i was left thereatfer by handing me my license and papers |

Details of Content: | both the staff were middle aged and shabbily dressed with no name talley and refusing to show their identity and are from rto staff since they have a rto room near to juction and people are aware. |
D: My Suggestions | |
1. For head of government department: | |
Suggestion 1: | pse instruct your staff to stop threatning the passenger that the challan has to be paid in court.The helpline should be available to common citizen so that their grievances can be addressed then and there.the challan cut should be payable at any point of time and rto staff should not keep the licence and vehicles paper with them till challan is paid. |
2. For the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) / Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI): | |
Suggestion 1: | the rto staff at highway may not be empowered to keep licence and papers of vehicle with them, till challan is paid |
