B: My Complaint Details | |
1. Period of incident: | Before 2007 – Jan |
2. Services that were sought: | IOC to codify transfer and promotion policy. Stop arbitrary & illegal activity. IOC to amend illegal Indian Oil Grievance Handling Procedure violative of the fundamental right to justice that debars IOC officers from filing grievances pertaining to their own performance and promotion. |
3. Problem/s I faced: | No response by IOC since 1997. Harassment, victimisation, chargesheeting and suspending me for writing emails, threatening, not promoting, denying my dues, compelling me to go for VRS, not protecting me as Whistle Blower and issuing me legal notices for writing emails seeking justice – RTI info. |
4. Bribe amount: | This is a case of illegal & unethical activity of moral corruption. |
5 a. Was the bribe paid? | I refused to stop seeking Justice and also refused to stop seeking RTI information on policies in larger public interest. |

D: My Suggestions | |
1. For head of government department: | |
Suggestion 1: | I want IOC (1) to implement Supreme Court judgment of Dev Dutt vs Union of India and commence communicating in writing the performance rating to all the employees. (2) to codify transparent transfer and promotion policies for their employees and stop arbitrary and illegal activity. This request is in terms of letter dated 29 January 2009 from Deputy Secretary Public Grievances Prime Minister of India office to Chairman IOC with a copy to me (Babubhai Vaghela – Ex – Sr Manager IOC) (3) I also want IOC to amend illegal Indian Oil Grievance Handling Procedure P olicy that is violative of the fundamental right to justice and debars IOC officers from filing grievances pertaining to their own performance rating and on promotion. |
