Defining Child Labour
Child labour is commonly defined as work done by children under the age of 18 which is considered to be damaging to their physical, emotional, intellectual,social and spiritual development.
Child labour encompasses every non-schoolgoing child irrespective of whether the child is engaged in wage or non-wage work; whether he or she is working for their family or for others;whether employed in hazardous or non-hazardous occupations; whether employed on a daily or on a contract basis or as a bonded labourer.
Definition of Child Labour:
Child Labour is work performed by a child that is likely to interfere with his or her education, or to be harmful to their health or physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development.
