Personal experience – Cancer -Ozone Therapy
My husband was diagnosed with stage II-B colon cancer last November, and was operated for the same in December 2006. He was subsequently told to undergo 12 sessions of chemotherapy every two weeks for two and a half days of each session. Initially, it was not much of a problem, but subsequent sessions started to wear him out. By the time he had his second last chemo (11th session), he was very weak, had to make an effort to get out of bed and could hardly eat an apple or one scrambled egg a day. Around the 5th day, some friends told us about Ozone Therapy, and how it had helped another friend of theirs who had had colon cancer as well. So my husband went for it, with great difficulty, on the 5th day after his 11th chemo.
The next morning, he told me that that was the first night he slept well and that he felt much better. So much so, that he got dressed and ready to go to Phoenix Mills for some personal work that was pending. We finished that work around lunchtime, and he suggested we eat something there, so we went to Subway, and much to my amazement, he actually ate a whole 6″ subway sandwich. He was dreading his last chemo session and the subsequent after effects, but with going for the Ozone therapy, he found that the effects of the last chemo was not that bad.
By halfway of his chemotherapy, he had started losing his taste of food, and the Doctors told him that it would take him about four to six months after all the chemotherapy was over, to regain his tastebuds and his appetite normally. Well, thankfully, he got it all back within a month. He was taking 20 sessions of Ozone therapy, twice a week, in one form, and then the treatment was changed to another form, as recommended by the Doctor. He still goes once a week.
This treatment is given at the Lady Ratan Tata Cancer Research place at Cooperage, Colaba, in the Radiation department twice a week on Mondays and Thursday mornings and at other places too in Bombay by different doctors. There is also an Ozone Therapy clinic at the Bisleri Factory compound in Andheri, which I am told is the main centre.
This may or may not work for one and all, and I guess it would depend on each individual case and how the person takes it, but has to be administered by a medical professional, after certain blood tests, etc. are done. I am told that if a person is G6PD, then they are not eligible for this, and certain other conditions also do not allow for this treatment.
I personally had started getting Sciatica pain on my right side. After two sessions of Ozone, it had practically disappeared and after 5, I have not had this problem in the last 6 months. My mother had fungal nails for years and no amount of treatment had helped, but applying ozonated oil, has improved her nail condition considerably. My neighbour’s dog had a skin problem, which wouldn’t go away. After using the ozonated oil on the dog for a few days, his skin condition improved.
Once again, I am only giving instances of those i know that were helped and AGAIN, I wish to state, that this treatment may or may not help everyone, and everyone may not be eligible for it, but if anyone is interested, its worth looking into, but do please go through the proper channels and qualified practitioners only. It should not be considered as a substitute for chemotherapy or any other mainstream treatment, as its an Alternate therapy. Consult the doctor first.
If you do a Google search on Ozone Therapy, you will get alot of information on it. The Ozone Therapy site for India is: www.ozonepromotion. com
