2.      All official correspondence should be addressed to The General Secretary.

3.      You have to mention in a covering letter the purpose of the donation.

4.      All a/c payee cheques (any currency), demand drafts, in favour of ‘Ramakrishna Mission’ are accepted. It is advisable to send donations through Speed Post / Registered Mail.

5.      Online donation   (for Indian donors only)

We have recently installed on-line donation facility. For details please visit our website at: http://www.belurmath.org/donation.php. The purpose should be selected / mentioned as “Relief and Rehabilitation”.

The HDFC Bank will send us a periodic statement of online donations received, with addresses of donors. Our formal receipt for your donation will be sent to you after we receive the bank statement. This latter receipt will help you claim the Income tax concession (80-G).

After remitting online donations kindly inform us by E-mail, the following details (Point nos. 1 to 5) of the online donation for follow-up from our end:

Note: For your kind information, we are in the process of installing online donation facility for foreign contributions. It is held up because of some technical grounds from the banker’s end. It may take some time.

All donations paid in cash or by cheque / demand draft drawn in favour of “RAMAKRISHNA MISSION” payable at Kolkata are exempt from Income Tax under section 80-G of the I.T. Act.
