PCGT’s Navleen Kumar Awards.
Every year during the Vigilance Awareness Week, in the month of November, PCGT organises the Navleen Kumar Award to honour the work undertaken by the late social activist Smt. Navleen Kumar, who fought for the land rights of poor and deprived tribals. Navleen was brutally murdered on the terrace of her building on June 19, 2002. For the year 2003, the award was given posthumously to Smt. Navleen Kumar. Since then six other activities (mentioned below) have received this award as a mark of appreciation of their dedicated struggle in the cause of justice.
