Conservation research is the focus of the 117 year old organisation. They have education, research and conservation related activities. Members can avail of many facilities like nature camps, field trips, talks, slide shows, the BNHS library and collections as well as the quarterly ‘Hornbill’ and the scientific ‘Journal’. Those wishing to participate actively in conservation activities may enroll as volunteers and take part in the programs from time to time.
