Development Sector, AIESEC in Mumbai: Youth For Development:
AIESEC in Mumbai has been running the Youth for Development Exchange Programme (YDEP) since 1996 and has facilitated exchange programes between organizations and students with an academic and/or work background of Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Development and underprivilleged human issues. AIESEC runs short term projects and works with a variety of issues like Child Rights and Welfare, Education, Environment, HIV and AIDS, Health and Disability etc.
NGOs such as Population First, Childline India Foundation, India Sponsorship Committee, Asha Handicrafts, Global Centre for Prevention of Diseases, Aakar Knowledge Solutions, CCDT etc have taken interns from AIESEC’s international pool of talented fresh graduates and students.

AIESEC in Mumbai: Opportunities for Membership:
AIESEC recruits members bi-annually to facilitate the International Internship Programe and take up leadership opportunities to thereby develop and discover their potential. Members gain professional , managerial and organizational skills as well as exposure to the different Sectors that AIESEC deals with.
Members are also given the opportunity to go for an Internship themselves to another AIESEC country in the network.
