| 1. Period of incident: | 2009 – May |
| 2. Services that were sought: | I did signal jump at minerva circle. bangalore. i was willing to pay the fine for this incident, but the police men told me the penalty if we pay in court will be Rs 400/- and he took Rs 100/ from me without giving any receipt. |
| 3. Problem/s I faced: | I want to know whether really the court fine for signal jumping is Rs 400/ or Rs 100/ ?????? |

| 5 a. Was the bribe paid? | Yes, because i was not aware of actual fine for signal jumping. the police men was threatening me to pay it. |

| 6. Result: | I want to be more aware on fines and penalty, but these corrupted traffic police mens are looting the public by hiding the real facts with respect to fines and penaliites |

| 1. For head of government department: | |
| Suggestion 1: | whatever fines and penalties public is paying should reach the government properly. Government should bring awareness about the different penalties and the prodecure to pay should be simplified. |
| 2. For the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) / Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI): | |
| Suggestion 1: | To have a better check on traffic police, since they loot the public money like anything. these corrupted traffic police mens should be punished severerly. |

| Suggestion 1: | Not to pay bribes. but pay fines and penalties and get acknowledgements so that the fund should reach the govt. |
