Address of the government organisation: | To be taken into seriously that most of the staff from the organization CARE-India -Chennai have applied for a non refundable loan where the PF Department is taking its own time in releasing the money as the staff are paying heavy interest to the bank where they have taken loan to buy a flat. . Secondly when a staff is to retire next year the bank do not give a housing loan for 15 -20 years so the staff had to get the help of their son – in -law who is also a relative, but the loan is rejected. |

| 2. Services that were sought: | Since my loan is rejected I need to know why it is so. The reason I have mentioned is that due to the age. When enquired in Chennai the PF staff said I need to bribe the PF Dep. in Delhi. We donot have the pension facility with CARE. I need to depend on this money to clear off my debt, first . |
| 3. Problem/s I faced: | Since I am paying a heavy interest I need the money to repay my loan. Despite giving proper evidence in a stamp paper the relation of my son -in law, the PF dept. has rejected my application. Further what prove should I give. I am asking them to send the money staright to the Union Bank.of India . |

| D: My Suggestions | |
| 1. For head of government department: | |
| Suggestion 1: | The procedures should be changed and help such staff in organization like CARE-INDIA who donot have a pension scheme. The PF Dept. should have adequate staff and in the absence of any staff a back up should be present to carry out the work without delay. Thise staff who takes bribe should be dismissed from service. The Government should look into it seriously and punish those staff who bribes and do not pass the papers on time for release of payment. More importatnt is that the procedures has to be altered, it is my daughter’s husband. Despite giving an evidence certificate from a seniot advocate in a stamp paper they have rejected. |
| Suggestion 2: | The PF Department in Delhi is not centralized for the any staff to know what is the current amount in the PF, nor they are interested in giving us an annual statement to our office. in fact they come to our office every month to collect the money of the staff but do not show any interest in providing us the annual statement. It was told that the staff makes a lot of error in calculation, if the staff are unfit , why is that fresh recruitment is not taking place. There are lot of intellectuals. |

| Suggestion 1: | The CBI should take a stern action and delve into the PF Department, especially in the 4 regional offices in Delhi. |

| Suggestion 1: | Other citizens too seek the same sought of assistance. I anticipate that the situation will change if the procedures are changed. The most Delayed Department, not all citizens working in firms do offer pension , they have to depend on the PF amount , by crediting the bank and taking home the interst for their survival. We have to think of the current world where everyhing is so expensive and depending on someone / even one’s own blood relation – after putting into service for so many years and if the Govt. is so corrupted and mean for not releasing the amount the citizen thad saved in order to live happily. It is really miserable. |
