One major project is coming up in Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan), where the organization is constructing a huge college complex for the benefit of the students of the district. The government college building in the city would be ready within the next one year and would be named after Late Sh. Radheshyamji Ramkumarji Morarka, a visionary leader and industrialist who represented Jhunjhunu in the parliament for many terms. We draw inspiration from Late Sh. RR Morarka, who is remembered with great respect for his selfless service of the society. The organisation is also taking up a project to build a charitable hospital at Nawalgarh (Jhunjhunu).
Model village: DSIL has adopted village Rajpura, which is in its immediate vicinity. The existing roads of the village have been strengthened, sanitary facilities provided and education imparted to the residents of the village, about the importance of hygiene.
Roads: The Company has undertaken a massive program for strengthening of the main roads as well as the link roads of the area. The effort is two pronged as besides being a welfare measure it also facilitates the transportation of sugarcane.

Power: A co-generation facility is being set-up for power generation and the same will entail the usage of non-conventional, bio-degradable renewable fuel. The said facility will contribute in bridging the yawning gap between the demand and supply of power in the area.
RR Morakha Public School
The biggest and the noteworthy measure undertaken by DSIL was the setting up of the school. Pained at hardship faced by its employees and the residents of the neighboring villages, DSIL decided to set up a school in its vicinity. Having decided to set up the school, most modern structure was made ready in three months time. A strong and competent faculty has been hired and the school is affiliated to the CBSE Board. Setting up of the school has been giant step in the direction of accomplishment of its cherished objective – viz. service to the society.
The school has successfully completed Six years of its working and has set an example in children education. The education imparted is one of the best in the area and special emphasis is laid in the development of the personality of the children. Discipline of the highest order is imbibed and the children are taught to think independently. Besides providing good quality education efforts are made to spot the talents of children in the field of sports, music, dance and drama. They are then nurtured so as to enable them to excel in the chosen field.
The school has been duly authorised by CBSE to run 10+2 classes, and the first batch of class 11th students has already been enrolled. A couple of years from now the school will also have residential facility so that besides children of the area, children of distant places can also avail the benefits of quality education. To keep pace with the changing times children are also given exposure to information technology. High-class infrastructure consisting of latest and most sophisticated computer hardware is made available for use of the students. The company has set up a state-of-the-art science laboratory to provide the best practical education to the students.
Youth Orientation – of the neighboring villages – The youth of the village who have undergone ITI course are being provided, intensive training in the factory for a period of one year so as to prepare them for more arduous tasks in future.
Fullfilling our duties towards nature
As awareness regarding global warming has increase the world over and concerns have been voiced to the depleting ozone layer, people are realising the need to protect the nature’s heritage. Dwarikesh is committed towards protection of environment and has taken up various measures to keep the atmosphere clean, healthy and hygienic in the area by using latest technology, conducting plantation campaigns and motivating local populations in this regards. The lush green landscape within the factory is breath taking and beholds the eyes of the viewer.
Besides complying with the norms stipulated by the pollution control authorities, DSIL has planted environment friendly trees not only in its premises but also in the surrounding areas. A task force has been constituted which has ensured planting of at least 10,000 trees till now. DSIL also buys seedling and saplings and distributes them free of cost to the residents of neighboring villages.
Any Kind of Pollution is just unacceptable
By installing efficient treatment plants, we have made sure that water coming out of the factory is fully clean and pollution free. Discharged effluent after treatment is clear and more than meets the stipulated norms by the pollution control authorities.
A distillery is being setup with the eventual objective of manufacturing absolute alcohol/ gasohol. The gasohol can be conveniently blended with the conventional petrol and used for running of vehicles.
