PCB official chargesheeted in bribe case
PUNE: The state anti-corruption bureau (ACB) on Friday filed a chargesheet against Nutan Kadve, land superintendent of the Pune Cantonment Board (PCB), in a bribe case.
Deputy superintendent of police Parshuram Patil filed the chargesheet in the court of special judge J.D. Kulkarni.
Kadve, a resident of Fatimanagar, was arrested on a complaint lodged by Padmini Gujar (42) of Kondhwa Khurd.
According to the ACB, Gujar had filed an application at the PCB office in October 2007 for replacing the name of her father-in-law Shivajirao Gujar with the name of her mother-in-law Manik Gujar in respect of the three properties owned by them at Bhimpura and Solapur Bazaar. The application was transferred to Kadve for nominal approval. Despite the paper work done and all clearances obtained, Kadve allegedly delayed the transfer, demanding Rs 1,500.
