Amravati –
Amravati is one city that falls in the central of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is believed that the city belonged to Indra, the city of Lord, the king of all Gods. The city falls 156 kms west of Nagpur and serves as the administrative centre of Amravati District and of Amravati Division. Amravati is growing industrial centre with cotton mills as an important industry. The town is slowly and steadily expanding toward Badnera, 10 km to the south, which is the location of the railway junction where the branch railway line serving Amravati joins the main east-west line.
