www.EmpoweringIndia.org is an Internet based platform that allows citizens and civil society groups to access data about candidates contesting for state assembly and parliamentary elections. The primary objective of creating this portal is to disseminate information about political parties and elected representatives to individuals and groups. It is hoped that access to this information will help individuals and groups in making better choices during the elections to state assembly or national parliament.
