Having been extremely forunate in being a witness to events starting from the Second World War (as far as Indian forced involvement is concerned) and in being a small and insignificant participant in the Quit India movement under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, I feel that what you have written is of great importance. How to keep the memories and recollections of that mammoth movement is an issue.
My small particpation and bieng imprisoned in Yervada Central Prision has made and changed my life to a great extent.
Indian people rose to the Mahatma’s call to his fellowmen to throw out the foreign rule and forced the British rulers to quit. Most important aspect was that the LEADER and his generals were taken away from them all of a sudden. What a discipline and following to Mahatma’s commands!
As Albert Einstein has predicted: ” For generations to come, humans would hardly believe that a human like this ever strode this earth.” (Quote is not exact).
The point for all of us living is keep these memories alive so that generations to come will take a lesson that humans can achieve what is right for the living beings. This is aspect is has a great significance at this time when genocides take place for gaining the evil idea of the murderers that we have now become.
Vinaybhai, I believe I had shared with you my collaboration with Shri N. K. Somani at one time. He could visualise in a great way.
Best wishes.
