British Chevening Scholarship 2009- Inviting Applications

The British Council is the United Kingdom’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. As part of its educational initiatives we manage a number of scholarships that provide opportunities for students to study in the UK.

The Chevening scholarships programme is the flagship programme of the UK government. This year the programme celebrates 25 years of successful implementation with over 2000 young individuals from across India benefiting from it so far.

We have opened the Chevening scholarships programme for 2009 and invite applications from bright young students and professionals from around India before 31 December 2008.
