SAT Examination also known as Scholastic aptitude
test or Scholastic assessment test is a standardized test that is owned,
published and scored by the College Board. In this exam, every year two million
students appear in the exam. For attempting this, an individual has three hours
and forty-five minutes. This exam comprises of three main sections i.e.
critical reading, mathematics and writing. It is considered as the difficult
exam among the students. So I am providing here some useful tips for cracking
the exam.
- For
cracking the SAT Examination, a student should answer easy
questions first. Usually we get the easier questions at the start of the
section and later the harder one. In the critical reading section, the
questions are placed according to the logic and organization of the
passage. - If you
do not know the answer, you should skip the questions. If you left an
answer blank, no marks will be deducted. - You
should use your test booklet just like a scratch paper. - For
attempting the writing section, one should read the directions very
carefully and afterwards follow them. - If you
do not know the meaning of a word in a sentence completion or reading
passage section, you should consider related words, familiar sayings,
phrases, roots, prefixes and suffixes. - You
should not jump over from one passage to another passage and stay with a
passage until you answer that. After giving the answers, you should
proceed to the next one. - Whenever
we talk about the SAT essay, there is no short cut to get success in it.
So you should read the entire assignment very carefully. An essay
assignment includes a short paragraph about the issue.
