Profile of FUEL - FRIENDS UNION FOR ENERGISING LIVES    Name of Organisation : FUEL - FRIENDS UNION FOR ENERGISING LIVES   One Line Descriptive Slogan : FRIENDS UNION FOR ENERGISING LIVES   About us : FUEL is a nonprofit organization, started by youth engaged in creating values in the lives of students community by knowledge empowerment and by assisting them in Preparing themselves for their future academics, pursuits, careers & growth.   Vision : we want to make sure no students in India is missed out any opportunity due to lack of information   Mission : To empower students community of India   Services Offered : .1. FUEL works on education awareness of National Level Examinations and Application preparation of Exams. 2. We train students of class 10th ,11th and 12th with demo practice of applications forms of National exams like IIT ,AIEEE,AFMC,AIIMS ,CET’s etc. so that they will not make errors in procedures and their admissions will not be denied due to incorrect procedure. 3. We also have prepared a book on the various exams which gives details of tentative time table of exams, bank addresses and other relevant details. 4. After conduction of workshop we give this book to all students and Libraries of respective college/school. We also run a telephone Helpline and exam sms alerts drive.   Impact Data / Statistics : • We have successfully implemented this project in Maharashtra for the last three years to reach 50,000 students and have been Invited to Karnataka State to implement the same.   Brief History : started in 2006   Brief Projects / Achievements : Our Accomplishments: • We have successfully implemented this project in Maharashtra for the last two years to reach 50,000 students and have been Invited to Karnataka State to implement the same. • We have also conducted workshops for parents to help students in their complicated system formalities. • We have a student’s helpline 24hrs a day which is solving the student’s problems, and we send out sms alerts about various exams etc. • We have provided financial support of Rs 2000 each to few meritorious but economically weak students in the process after conducting a Home Visit. • We have created 2000 Email ids of students in rural areas by spreading computer literacy.   What do you exactly do for a beneficiary?: We are open to all suggestions by beneficiary   Info sources: website,   Programmes organised during the year: Report can be requested by email .
