Our Methods

  • To enable you to take the first step in improving your world, by getting involved with a group of like-minded persons and organisations in your city and locality

  • To provide a platform for Citizens, NGOs, Civil Society Groups, Government, Media, Donors and Corporates to meet and interact

  • To be a bridge at the intersection of civil society and Government interaction and dialogue, and to work towards institutionalised and sustainable methods of interaction between the two

  • To maximise the potential of the Karmayog community network by using it to generate thought, ideas and action on issues that affect us, and to use the synergies between different participants in Karmayog to enable the formation of Focus Groups around issues and subjects

  • To be an informative, vibrant, diverse, relevant and valuable online resource and be the place where you come when you need information, when you have a question, when you need help, or when you want to get involved, or when you want to offer such services

  • To develop easy to use software and support systems that supplement, improve, assist and maximize the work of NGOs, civil society groups, Government, etc. that enables us to work together to collectively find solutions to issues that affect us

Karmayog works towards implementing this vision through the building of Partnerships with organisations that have some common goals with Karmayog, and through the formation of Focus Groups on specific issues. Both these mechanisms capitalise on the unique capabilities and missions of the various participants, as well as on the complementary missions that we share.
